Everything started with an opportunity to go to New York, where I’ve completed my graphic design certificate: it’s not a myth! This city gives you an incredible energy, turns your creativity on, and boosts your hidden wishes!
The truth is that with a master in Ancient History, and bachelors in Japanese and Modern Greek in my pockets, I couldn’t really find a way too cook a creative career: these studies were spicy enough but I needed a bigger pot!
So, right after my certificate, I did an internship in New York in a startup called Stylyt, and worked as a freelancer;
Then I went back to Geneva, worked remotely for Stylyt and started as a freelancer in Geneva. I brought back in my suitcase a very fresh mindset, a “just do it” one, like the famous brand tagline.
In 2015 I decided to co-found atelier5b a creative agency, leading various and complex projets from print to web design with a very diverse clientele & large target audience, from watchmaking manufacture and NGO’s to SME.
2020 : the Pandemic! It hit us as many of you… This made me rethink of what my values are and what is important to me.
Enthusiasm, collaboration, and challenges are my key values while people and human contacts are my foundations.
That’s why I decided to apply for a 6 months contract as graphic designer at Swatch Ltd., the famous Swiss watch brand for their Flik Flak department. I was their first in-house graphic designer and had the mission of creating a consistent design concept for the brand along with E-commerce and the digital marketing team leader. I wasn’t supposed to stay more but I was offered a fixed-term position as responsible graphic designer and to provide a brand new visual merchandising concept, challenge that I have accepted and successfully achieved!
I am now looking for a new challenge and I would like to offer my skills and experience to a team that is sharing the same values. Sky is the limit!
